If you purchased (or received from your funeral provider) the basic, anodized aluminum QR code medallion with adhesive backing, that item can generally be placed on a mausoleum crypt front, a niche front, an upright granite or marble monument, or anywhere in your home that you find convenient. Please consult with your cemetery management to ensure there are no rules or regulations regarding placement on your stone or crypt front. (Typically, VA cemeteries do not allow placement of any items on their markers or monuments). When placing your medallion on a flat bronze or granite marker, you may wish to place a thin bead of silicone adhesive or epoxy around the edge of the medallion AFTER placement with the existing adhesive backing. Do not add additional adhesive to the back of the medallion prior to placement, as this dilutes the efficacy of the special 3M adhesive, but place a thin bead of the recommended adhesive around the edge once the medallion is securely in place. .

No. Only our staff can access an online video to make any changes or corrections. Generally, in order to do this, you may incur an extra fee.
Your video can be viewed by anyone who scans the QR code or has access to the link, so for this reason we encourage you to limit the types of information you publish. Avoid using any documents that would give strangers personal information about your loved one...for instance, no birth certificates, marriage licenses, etc. You may enjoy adding memorabilia such as recipes, artwork, cards and notes, as well as genealogy trees for future reference...just avoid any personal info such as social security numbers, home addresses and so forth. If you are uncertain as to a specific item, don't hesitate to reach out, we'll be glad to advise.
